Training Mad

For some reason I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today and stayed there....Seemed nothing went right at all...As things went downhill I tried to channel that into good workouts...Did 45 min of cardio at lunch...did 75 pushups and 250 situps as well as 100 sprawls this morning when I got up...

Trying to figure out how to come up with the Money to go to the European BJJ championships later this month...Looks to be futile though

Went to class a little late today...Was really planning on not going as I was out of it mentally, but I went in and got three really pretty hip throws in succession in in King Of Takedowns drills...Then worked really aggressively in my first roll working armbar to triangle to kneebar starting from my opponents guard, my guard and side mount respectively...Had many other opportunities but as my mind was elsewhere i almost got passed a couple times and missed those....next roll was with a nother really good purple belt who recently joined our school..he's a two time pan am winner...let him start in side control each time and recovered guard each time...actually he worked one of his fave moves (bow n arrow choke) but i defended it and recovered guard and went on to attack with a few things...lost focus again and fed him a toe hold but defended it and went to a rear naked which i finished (was real proud of that! :-D ) ...He was really helpful during our roll though as he pointed out a few things i could/shoudl do differently...

finished up with 100 sprawls...50 pushups...2min of 6 inches and 50 situps on the heavybag...

as i missed technique and was really not focused though i should have stayed home i think...

Great job on turning that negative energy into a productive workout. I really hope all works out & you're able to come up with money to fund your Portugal trip. Good luck!
